Turning your ideas into reality
Hi, I am Clare and I have worked in weddings and events for many years. The most favourite part of my job, has been, and always will be weddings.
I have always been a planner.
I started wedding planning back in 1997 as an in-house planner at a hotel based in Wiltshire. I was hooked from there on. I took my love of wedding planning across to Cardiff and then up to Scotland in 2005, where I had the pleasure of working my biggest wedding of 275 guests.
I took a break from Weddings and Events to have my two gorgeous children. Then the last 10 years I have been working on small corporate events, team building and co-ordinating several weddings privately.
Along side this I have been working on my 'Scrapbook', a collection of inspirations and ideas which I now share with brides and grooms. I just love seeing their eyes light up with delight!
I relaunched in 2023 as The Florence & Olive Collective rather than just my name. Why Florence & Olive?, those ladies were not only my grandmothers, but a huge influence on who I am. Because of that we are now Florence & Olive.
I not only have years of experience and over 350 weddings planned in the past, but I am a qualified wedding planner with a diploma.
As you probably guessed, I also have a passion for private parties and corporate events- including team building away days. To be able to step in and take it off the hands of an individual or business owner- so they can carry on with their day is always a pleasure to see it lifted from their shoulders.
I am very creative with a diploma in graphic design, so you will always have access to new and fresh ideas, including bespoke event websites and branding.
